Pirates, fish tacos and Pedro
Gigante. Not a bad place to be stranded.
We headed to a small village located on Nica's picturesque South Pacific coast, boasting some of the best surf in the world and home to Chele Jackson.
Peep this,
The kid spells INSPIRATION.
Channelling my inner Sushi chef with Alexandra's fresh catch.
Caught, filleted, freshpacked and sushi sliced within 24 hours.
The lady is a pirate!
Picture perfect.
Our beautiful amigos Alexandra and Jeff our hosts with the most. Literally.
Livin' the dream!

Catch of the Day
Our beloved Pedro who followed us home. A true bubba he makes casa wherever he roams.
Being this cute gets his way with the girls, and boys.
Breathtaking sunsets in Paradise
Breathtaking seniorita in Paradise!
Crab in motion
SNAP!
Nicaragua: land of lakes, volcanoes and hammocks.
Stretching it out, what better way to start your day.
Wake up call before heading back to San Juan Del Sur.
Hasta luego Gigante, until we meet again mi amour!
Viva la Granada y Apoyo
Bienvenida Granada!
Yoga a la carte @ Third Eye Cafe.
Senioritas in stillettos styled up with sombrillas....
Local fruit wallah. Nicaragua is home to A-grade mangos.
Delicioso!
Bright coloured colonial buildings and technicoloured architecture light up this endearing town.
A little stroke out into Laguna de Apoyo Nature Reserve waters will land you on a piece of prime real estate. Located between the departments of Masaya and Granada, Lake Apoyo was declared a nature reserve in 1991 and comprises of one of 78 protected areas of Nicaragua.
Cocooned by mountains atop a glass lake, the stillness is breathtaking and mesmerizing.
Basking in the aura of this grand lake meditating in it's silence makes it as one of my great mother nature moments.
Heaven Haven.
Surfin' the Dream
My first ever attempt at standing on a board in Hermosa beach! I've lived on Bondi Beach my whole life but decided no better place than Nicaragua to learn to surf! It's easy to understand addiction of riding the waves and gliding across tranquil waters and feel the sense of peace that comes with being at one with the ocean.
First attempt at surf and making a cameo appearance in the local Nicaragua Surf Report make for a productive week!
Back on solid ground. Surf, yoga, surf, yoga.
Nica-hiking is the optimum way to navigate San Juan.
It pays to have a wagon in return for these smiles!
For a small town San Juan really knows how to party.
Following the 2 day surf comp was the SanJuanSurf & Corona Party at Arribas Bar.
30 degrees celcius, 80% humidity, dancing on la playa on tropical heat to a blasting raggae beat, no refuge only rum. Sweating bodies grinding off the days surf, true Nica style!
